Production Machining Services
Short-run precision machining services for high-tolerance components.
Detail Mold & Manufacturing’s production machining services cover CNC milling and lathe turning, wire and sinker EDM, laser welding and engraving, and precision surface grinding, all in-house. The same ISO 9001:2015-certified quality systems and shop floor precision that drive the mold manufacturing side of the business govern every production component that comes through.
Our precision machine manufacturing services are built for programs where getting it right matters more than getting it fast. Five parts or fifty, the precision standard is the same. The work that lands here is the kind that demands attention on every single piece, and that is exactly what this shop is set up to deliver.
Detail Mold & Manufacturing’s precision tooling manufacturing services span CNC machining, EDM, laser work, and precision grinding, covering the full range of production component needs from a single facility.
Cutting steel for a mold that has to hold tolerance through a million production shots is a different discipline than machining a one-off part. Detail Mold & Manufacturing’s machinists work from that same standard on every production component, tool steel, hardened steel, stainless, whether it’s a mold insert or a standalone customer part. A shop that only machines production parts has never had to solve for a tool that can’t wear out of spec. We have, and that experience carries into every job on this floor.
Standalone production machining projects are welcome, you don’t need a mold program running alongside it. If your project does involve a mold, whether it’s a new build, a repair, or an existing tool that needs a machined component to match it, that work happens in the same facility with the same team, so nothing gets handed off between vendors if your program grows to include both.
Detail Mold & Manufacturing’s precision manufacturing services support medical device manufacturers, aerospace and defense, and telecommunications, among others. ITAR compliance and an FFL license cover regulated and firearms-related component work.
Yes. A customer can have a mold designed and built here, run in the injection molding department, and have associated precision machined components produced in the same facility. That level of integration is part of what makes us different from precision manufacturing companies that only do one or the other.
